What is the intended activity for the default situations?

So as we know, the game comes with some default properties/situations, but some appear very similar. Case in point:

Lover's lane / Free Kiss <- kissing/hugging/etc
Jail / Court / Bribe Guard / Undeveloped Land <- all seem to involve you doing something for your partner
Broadway / Cabaret <- performing for partner
Chance / Lucky Encounter / Same Square <- random
Massage Studio / Doctor's Office <- massages
Hotel - clearly a roleplay element but is there more to this?
Amusement Park - another roleplay element, but is there more to this?

I was wondering what the nuance is for each of the above pairings?

What makes you decide to assign your actions to one over the other?

Hey Don, is there any way to turn off these 'default squares" like court, jail, lover lane, etc..?

You can use the action editor to change or remove actions. The best way to turn off a square would be to edit all actions for that square and set them to a category that is overloaded. Then add in a single action that says the court house (for example) is closed.
