Merge Action Files

If this has been asked before forgive me...

How do I merge action files? Or is there a way to copy/paste actions from one file to another?

What I did was open action editor then opened a file after that I went to file append and added all the action files I had. After that I did a validate. Hope that helps Oh also I did a edit description before I saved the file because it will take the name of one of the files you appeneded. Hope that helps.
