Game Room Idea

Postby Xenon » Fri Jan 14, 2011 3:03 am

Ok, I have a idea for a new property, and I want to get some feedback / suggestions / tech advice.

The idea is a "Game Room" ... a game within the game ...

So, in the game room, you play a QUICK game of some common easy game, like ....
War, just to the first match and war....
One hand of poker
one round of Uno or something similar
one word each of Scrabble
etc etc etc

The idea would be for them to short ... in the range of 1 to 3 minutes or so.

I would low, medium and high levels of each game...
At low level, probably a kiss or a backrub for the winner.
At medium, the games become "strip war" or "strip poker" or whatever, and the loser loses an article of clothing.
At high level, the games are for sexual favors, intimate kissing, etc.

SOOO, here are my questions to the forum ...
1) Does this sound like a "good" or "fun" idea? Would you and/or spouse like this? (I think my wife would, and I know I would)
2) Any other suggestions of games that would work - need to be common, quick, simple, etc.
3) Technical Question... Is there a way to have something "outside the AI engine" give data back to the AI engine? My first try at this was to set up the "accept" option as "subject won game" and the decline option as "partner won game". The works, I think to have "partner remove 1 item" for the strip war or strip poker part, if the "accept" button is pushed for subject won game. But I can't figure out how to have the "decline" option mean that "subject removes 1 item". Maybe I'm not approaching it right ... Any suggestions?

Ideas for games:
War (just to first war)
Poker (one hand)
Uno (one round)
Yatzee (one set of rolls each, best score win)
Scrabble (each grab 7 tiles, must spell sexy word, highest word score wins)
Risk (just one "attack" with three dice each,...)
Jenga
Balloon Volleyball
hand ping pong
thumb war
Slap Jack
Go Fish (first player with 3 pairs win)

I also wondered about built in computer games (big bang othello on the Mac for example or Reversi on the PC)

comments?

Interesting idea, however, I think it would be easier to just add those game actions to Chance, Amusement Park, Hotel, etc. depending on how they are written. If you create a new property, it is many actions to fill it out for all levels of game play.
