Any way to...?

Make an action (bribe the prison guard) that automatically fails?

I am trying to implement a system that when you try to bribe the guard, there are actions that count as failed bribery (no chance of getting out of jail this turn) and successful bribes (where you have to do a certain task to get away). I can't seem to find out the way to do this. Any ideas?

IE. The guard might be a loyal one who will not take any bribes. Therefore, nothing the prisoner does will help him / her. Instead, since trying to corrupt the loyal guard, the prisoner is punished by, for example, having an ice cube melted on their body. On the other hand, if the guard is not so loyal, he / she might ask the prisoner to pose for him / her for a while and afterwards let them go.

And, to clarify a little, I am not trying to create actions that happen if you choose to wait another turn. Those are different and I know that. (I think?)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
