Pronoun Problem with Action Editor

Postby MSBHusband » Mon Oct 01, 2007 8:09 am

When editing text, when I click the butting to insert the possessive his/her, it inserts <sn> which inserts the Subject's Proper Name, even if I click the partner button. Any ideas?

Hi,

I checked out the main version of Bliss and was unable to see the bug you are referring to. However, when I checked the current build of jBliss I saw that the bug you reported is there. So I assume that you must be using jBliss.

Can you tell me what platform / OS you are running jBliss on. jBliss is primarily intended for Mac or Linux. If you are running Windows you would probably be better off with normal Bliss.

In any case, the bug you reported is valid and I will correct it on the next jBliss Beta drop, which will probably be today or tomorrow.

As a workaround untill the next Beta drop, you can manually type <ss> or <ps> to insert the proper possesives for these two buttons.

Thanks,

Don

Don, Is there an upgrade or patch to upgrade to 7 or do I have to download the whole file to get the latest version?

Hi,

I have not made a patch for this upgrade. If you still need it, let me know and I will post something.
