The Action Editor locked up on me (Not Responding). I tried to kill the Bliss.exe process, but it would not stop. I finally had to shut down my computer while the Action Editor was still running.

When the computer was restarted and the Action Editor was started, I was unable to open my custom actions file, which was open when the computer was taken down. I get a pop-up saying System.Text.DecoderException: Unable to translate byte [82] at index 27 from specified code pages in Unicode.

Is there any chance to recover the file, or am I stuck?

Hi,

The odds of recovering it are probably not good, but if you want to send it to me I will give it a shot.

I can use my debugger to try to open it. However, the files are encrypted so I may not have any success at all.

I tried to attach the file, but since it is larger than 1 MB I cannot. Is there another way I can get it to you?
