Windows 7 license key invalid

Using windows 7, tried to put in my key. Said it was wrong? Now it won't let me try to enter it again, stating "Your license key is invalid"
I've searched the help pages but there is no certain file I read to delete.
I figure with the newer version + windows 7, maybe its something different?

Hi,

We have found a bug in version 1.6 which can cause this. It happens when a license key is entered mostly correctly but partially incorrectly in a certain way. It turns out that such an entry can get past the initial checking to see if it is valid but not good enough to actually run the game.

To fix this, the incorrect license key needs to be removed. Please contact us via email if you encounter this problem.
