Hi,

The file is not damaged, it just didn't come from the Apple App store. This appears to be an effort on Apples part to force everyone to use their app store for software distribution.

There is a fairly simple workaround discussed at:

http://www.akaipro.com/gatekeeper#overriding_for_one_app

On occasion the first method doesn't work and the one discussed below is needed:

http://www.akaipro.com/gatekeeper#overriding_for_all_apps
