unable to load library

We purchased the game in Feb 2007 and have played it a few times but not recently. When we try to access the game now we get a message that states it is unable to load the library and the game willnow terminate. What can we do to fix this problem?

we have Windows XP, the game is version 1.5.3 and the message we receive is: failed to delay load library OLEAUT32.dll (win32 error:5) this program can no longer run and will now terminate

Hi,

I would suggest that you first upgrade to version 1.5.6, which is a free upgrade and no longer uses the external .NET library. I am not certain that this will fix the problem, but it is a good thing to do anyway.

If this does not fix the problem, this may be difficult to solve. The oleaut32 library is a windows dll that manages OLE Automation. If it is not loading, that generally indicates a corrupted windows installation. It may be necessary to do a Windows repair installation to solve this.

and download the current version. Since you already have a license key, the new version will work with the existing license key.
