Game will not load at all

I just downloaded Bliss to my iPad 4. I can add action music, change the skin, add a picture, or change most other options in the settings. Once I start a new game, the entire app crashes once I select the basic action pack. I bought it outright but I'm not ready to buy add-ons if I can't get the game to work in the first place. Help! I'd really love to try it out but I haven't been able to start even one game.
