What about an action editor wizard that guides the user through each step of creating an action.

We have tried several times to come up with a scenario for this. The trouble is that it becomes as complex as the Action Editor itself. But we can keep looking at it

Perhaps rather than a wizard to step a person through I would suggest having someone create step-by-step examples of a variety of sorts. This would greatly simplify your work in not having to do additional programming and once people learn how to do it, I think they wizard would end up getting in the way because they could do it faster in their own manner, unless you give them the option to turn th wizard off. Which makes all your time and effort meaningless.

Might be worth while for someone VERY knowledgeable about how to use the editor to create a pdf file that people would be willing to buy.

Hi,

The action editor manual which is distributed with the game already has several step by step examples of creating actions. It take the user through each step of creating these actions. Do you think that additional examples to those in the manual would be useful?

How about a Tutorial? A way to integrate the Action Editor Manual into the Action Editor itself. Just something to go through an action or two with you to show you how to do it.
