I am sure it has be asked but it would be nice to add types of buildings like we add toys...

Hi,
This feature was planned for the original release of the game, and is still planned to be added when time allows. Unfortunately it is complex to do because it involves adding artwork to the game for the buildable properties.
We will have this eventually.
