A skin for bliss

While this is not technically an action file, it still seemed the most logical place to put this:

A while back I created a Skin for Bliss.

Take a look and let me know what you think.

I'm sure the download count isn't a true reflection of the number of users who have downloaded,installed and tried the skin.

I would still however value the opinions and comments of any who have tried it. What did you like about it, what didn't you like. Even more importantly what did your partner think

It is great to see someone post a skin. I am not sure I believe the 700 downloads since you need to be a registered user to download and there are only around 450 registered forum users.

I like the general concept of the skin. The translucent board squares are nice. It is kind of unfortunate that the game assumes "square" squares and draws the property squares with square corners instead of the nice rounded corners that you have used.

I wonder if labeling Broadway as Perform instead of Broadway will confuse players since the game text will still all refer to Broadway, but that probably doesn't matter too much.

Hi, thanks for your comments, much appreciated. Don is there anyway that in a future release the images for the game squares, shuch as properties could be in a resource file? Possibly in a similar way to your proposed solution for localised version of Bliss and action files?

Hello,

We have really enjoyed the game. we have just started writing our on actions. I would like to download the actions on the forum. But I am at a total loss on how to do this. I do not understand computer termanology. I need more of a step by step list. I finally found the Bliss folder under program files. When I try to open the files it says It can not open them. It says it needs to know what program to use to open them. Also I can not find my actions that I have made, in this folder. But they are in the action editor when I start the game.
Also How do you down load skins and other buildings?
