Can jBliss users make use of exchange action files?

Postby brucekathy » Sun Sep 16, 2007 6:54 pm

We just bought jBliss with the action editor after waiting a long time for a mac version. We love the game as is, but several actions repeated in just our second time playing. It would keep the game fresh if we could make use of some shared actions, but I do not see that it is possible with jBliss. Is this because it is new, and nobody has posted any actions yet, or is there a tech reason? Thanks for a great game.

Hi,

There are now two formats for action files, the .bdf format used by older versions of Bliss and the .bjf format used by jBliss and the current versions of Bliss.

There are two ways to convert old format (.bdf) files to the new format (.bjf) files. The first is to use the action editor in the PC version of Bliss. It can read or write either format of file.

The second is to use the on-line format converter at:

http://www.gamesforloving.com/ActionConvert.aspx

This web page will allow you to upload an old format (.bdf) file and it will create a .bjf file and download it to you your computer. Using this you can convert any old format file (including add-on packs) to the new .bjf format.

Thanks,

Don
