Birth Control

Postby chustme » Sun Dec 26, 2010 9:16 pm

On another thread I mentioned using the natural rhythm method for birth control.

My wife used the pill for 2-3 years after we got married, but it took her desire away, and she often felt sick (not exactly romantic). A friend of ours told us about Lady-Comp, a thermometer that does all the math and chart keeping for you, all that's necessary is the wife takes her temp every morning before she gets up. We've been using it since 2007 or so, and it has been working very well. At the time we bought ours, they were difficult to find in the USA, we bought ours here:

There may be other places to buy them by now. Anyway, just thought I'd pass the info along.

My wife and I tend to use the sympto-thermal method ourselves. You may also want to check out myfertilitycharts.com.
